Does Target Up and Up make a Similac Advance equivalent?

Does Target Up and Up make a formula that's the equivalent of Similac Advance? I looked on their website and I only see ones that are the equivalent of Enfamil or Similac Sensitive... but I've seen moms on here post that they use the Up and Up equivalent of Similac Advance. Do they only sell it in the store? Or am I missing something else? TIA!

Isn't regular enfamil the same as similac advance, so the one up and up is the same as both?

Hmm I don't know... we started LO on Enfamil in the hospital but our pediatrician recommended we switch to Similac because it was better for some reason (I can't remember what he told me in my new-mommy haze). But Similac is so pricey I was hoping to find a generic and we prefer Target to Walmart by far... (I know Walmart has a generic that is similar to Similac).

To the other ladies who posted that they do have an Up and Up equivalent... is it the one that says compare to Enfamil?

  • Yes, there is Up and Up equivalent to Similac Advance at Target.  It has worked wonders for my boy.
  • Im' pretty sure they do, but my pediatrician recommended we not use it. I can't remember why...

  • Similac and Enfamil are NOT the same. I don't know about up and up but I know walmarts parents choice is the same as similac. There are articles (such as livestrong.com) comparing the two, and parents choice and similac are identical. I happen to know this because my son is allergic to similac and only similac, he had enfamil and good start just fine, until I tried parent's choice and yup he is allergic to that too.
