Cigarette smoke when it lingers on clothing. It doesn't bother me so much if the person is smoking a cigarette. This has happened in the bathroom a couple of times, but there is someone in my building who must smoke so much during the day that the smell just hangs in the air after she is done washing her hands in the sink. It is SO STRONG that you could swear she should still be standing there in her stinky a$$ clothes. I have to hold my breath and finish washing my hands quickly. Pregnant or not, I just don't understand how you can't possible smell yourself and not be made sick by that smell!
so many smells, the worst was boiled eggs. My husband would make batches for me in the beginning of my pregnancy because it helped calm my stomach at night and the mornings sometimes but I would make him go out side to cook them on the grill. I have to agree about the dog, I used to take him to the groomers for baths 2 times a month but now it's a weekly thing and he still smells. The smell of coffee just turns my stomach. So many things mainly smells have made me nauseous this time around. I can't eat certain things based on their textures either, like mashed potatoes which I used to love, pancakes scrambled eggs and soft bread type stuff.
Cigarettes. Since the beginning of my pregnancy I feel like EVERYONE in this flipping city smokes, especially my neighbors! Drives me up the wall. I can smell it right now, actually...
I work in a bank and we have the smelliest customers ever! So their smells range from: cigarettes, alcohol, wood and sweat, and just pure a$$! Like they haven't showered in months! So I have a bottle of spray that I spray in my window after they leave.
Also I can't stand the smell of a hamburger, not the actual hamburger meat but a hamburger with everything. Just looking at it makes me sick to my stomach.
strangely my co-worker's hairpsray. When she sprays it at work it like is so strong it closes up my nostrils and i want to gag. I had to ask her not to spray it at work b/c it was so bad and she was spraying it several times a day.....even though she was like 5 feet away when spraying.
My only sensitivity has been to home improvement stores. Usually I like that woody, painty industrial smell but we walked into a Lowe's and I had to leave and sit on the curb for a minute. The smell made me want to ralph.
Re: OMG the smells
chicken is gross to me too!
I'm craving French Toast now, LOL!!!
