I didn't buy a bedding set. I got a breathable bumper.
Regular bumpers have been outlawed in Chicago, and the girl at my local BRU told me the other day that they had to pull all regular bumpers from the shelves. Not sure why anyone would decide to use them with so much information saying they're a suffocation hazard.
None. All of the warnings against them scared me out of it! Plus, I'm cheap so I didn't buy a bedding set.
Ha! Me too. I couldn't find anything I liked, and they aren't supposed to use the quilt or bumpers so I didn't see the point in buying a set for just a crib skirt.

Regular bumper. The breathable bumpers seem pretty pointless to me as they are so thin. Personally, I don't see how the bumper can be anymore of a suffocation hazard then a mattress.

None for now....we even returned the breathable one after they have been badmouthed as well for being to much material and an added risk. Ours just didn't fit our crib 100% so we didn't feel comfortable

We have a breathable bumper for down the road. We don't have a traditional sized crib (mini crib) and when we found it we grabbed it to avoid the hassle of finding it later.
We have a regular bumper for now (thank you grama for the bedding set I didn't really want). But when baby girl gets big enough to start rolling and scooting around, I'll replace it with a breathable bumper. We don't want her to be able to put her arms or legs through the slats either.

I agree...this is what I have...my sisters and I never had any problems.
Re: Bumper
My first two had the regular bumpers that came with the crib set.
This one has regular bumpers that I bought separately since I didn't buy a crib set this time.

We have a traditional bumper, but she won't be in the crib with it until she is 4-6 months old.
