UPDATE: little confession... :)

DH let it slip the other day that the girls at work were throwing me a little shower this afternoon. I was actually was venting to him about how I asked for today off, and my boss just said it was "not a good day." But gave no other reason. She never does that, and we have an office calendar where we mark our time off, so if we look and see two other people are already off that day, we'll probably get denied. Well no one else is off today so i was like WTF!? When I was telling DH about this, he turned bright red and completely away from me. Right then I knew what was going on. He begged me not to say anything to the girls int he office, so i haven't. But i'm having fun with it. (insert devil horns here) The girl who sits next to me eats lunch religously every day at 11. Rarely does she eat much later! Well this morning she asked if I wanted to go downtown and get lunch at 1. This is completely out of her character but I know she's doing it to get me out of the office so they can prepare. So I gave her a hard time about it, and said I might have errands to run, or I might work through my lunch and just stay in since i'm "pretty busy." haha! i'm so flattered that they are doing this, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Update: Co-worker and I went to lunch, it was AWESOME! When we came back they had the shower, and it was so nice. Got us essential stuff, and a little tool bench for Liam to open up. And I gave them my best Surprise face...although they were hoping for tears. haha!
