My baby is about out of his infant carseat so we are planning on getting a new one this weekend. I was going to get the Alpha Omega from Costco but then I read some not good reviews. I want one that will convert from rear to forward facing and last for a good long while. What is everyone's favorite on here? I am looking to spend less than 200. Thx!
Re: Recs for new carseat
I think Graco makes an all in one now that does rear and forward facing, but I don't know the price.
We went with the Graco My Ride 65 for DD2. She's 3.5 and still fits in it just fine.
Good choice in staying away from the Alpha Omega.
You can look here:

They have a list of recommended seats at the top of the page.
Good news is that there are a lot of good choices for under $200!

Ditto with what PP's said about staying away from the Alpha Omega. It's a quickly outgrown seat, and makes a terrible booster. It won't last like you want it to. Here's where to look for seats: https://www.car-seat.org/
They will give you the best info!
Ditto on the Radian. They are on for fantastic deals right now because of the SSK switch to Diono. So, unless your lo is freakishly tall like mine, it should fit a good long while. If you're willing to go hunt for the new Diono seats and it's in your budget, they are true 3 in 1 seats (unlike the pos AOE). The new seats booster.
Britax Boulevard 70 CS, we LOVE this carseat! My parents have the Britax Marathon and that one is nice too and a little cheaper. Britax is normally a bit pricier, but SO worth it. Plus, you can find great deals online quite often.
