Love the new Comedy Radio

Have yall heard 102. 7?  It's the new 24/ 7 comedy radio.  They play clip after clip of stand-up comedians.  Some are offensive, some aren't funny, but it is SO much better than majority (if not all) of the current radio stations.  Few and short commercials. The randomness is awesome and when there's a bad clip, you just wait a minute for the next one.

I was totally over the talk news, crapass music, arrogant DJs and 50% commercials. I'm enjoying my time in the car significantly more.

And what fun is this without a confession? I ? Daniel Tosh.

    Me too! I listened all day yesterday.

    I noticed the lack of commercials - I wonder if that's just because they're new, and once they're on a while advertisers will jump on board...

    I heard a rumor that they were stunting this channel so it may not last long. Granted, this is just a rumor so I could be wrong.

    (If you don't know what stunting is, it is basically when a station flips formats before the real format launches they "stunt" programming that has nothing to do with what the real new station will sound like.)

    That kind of makes sense, though. I've never heard of a comedy radio station that wasn't on for-pay satellite radio.

    If I talk to BIL in the near future I'll ask. He manages a radio station w Emmis- I think they own 102.7.
