Too many to pick! My dad's homemade rolls, pumpkin pie, broccoli rice casserole, dressing, mashed potatoes......
Now I'm drooling, thanks a lot!
I'm really glad that we're back in Texas so that we can have Thanksgiving with my parents (and DH's parents too, we usually eat twice that day). When we lived out of state and had holiday dinners with DH's extended family, their food was...weird...and holidays just weren't the same for me.
Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing (not cornbread stuffing, though. I'm from up North, we just use white bread!) all with turkey gravy on it. And pecan pie. I'm good with that, y'all can have all the rest! (see? me = carbaholic)

white bread stuffing all the way!
ooh day after is casserole with stuffing on the bottom, then turkey and mashers topped with gravy and uhm "fried onions"

I got a recipe for a pumpkin torte from a close family member. My favorite EVER! It starts with a graham cracker crust and cream cheese layer, baked. Then added pumpkin pie filling, baked. Then topped with a large topping of cool whip. It IS the bomb dot com for reals.
Broccoli cheese rice casserole. Yum. But only the really unhealthy kind. DH tried to make it once with tons of broccoli, brown rice, sharp cheddar and cream. Umm, no thanks. Once a year I need velveeta and cream of mushroom soup in a can. Bring on the processed food!

Me too, yo. Me too. Sadly and quite unfortunately for my waist line. Le sigh.
My mom's jalapeno dressing. DH's dressing. (yes, we have both ) DH's corn casserole. My grandma's sweet and sour green beans. My sister's hashbrown casserole. My pumpkin trifle.
Years we go to MN: my grandma's pies, mashed potatoes and gravy
Years we stay in TX: REAL turkey and my MIL's stuffing - she uses italian sausage and NO sage
Alas, this is a MN year. Perhaps you all remember two years ago when I posted a picture of my aunt's turkey loaf. The really crappy part is my aunt is a professional caterer...and she makes us a f*cking loaf.
I will consider myself lucky that I don't even know what a turkey loaf is!

Oh em gee. WHY have I never thought to try this? Genius. I can't wait till Tgiving!

Oh god I did the same thing too. It was horrid! Luke wouldn't even touch it.
For me it's gotta be fried turkey, pumpkin pie and this awesome banana salad that my mom makes.
Stuffing (Yankee style with the white bread) and gravy and turkey. My mom also makes the cranberry sauce from fresh cranberries and it's great. And my grandma's chocolate pie with graham cracker crust is delicious.
Definitely MIL's cornbread stuffing. My family always made it out of a box but she makes it from scratch and there's such a huge difference. She always makes a ton just so I can take home the leftovers. Yum.
Mashed potatoes with turkey gravy. Hands down, all day.
It has taken me 7+ years to come around to DH's (southern) family cornbread stuffing, from my family's (northern) white bread style. I finally like it, which must be followed by a big deal from them all. :eyeroll:
Re: What's your favorite Thanksgiving food?
pumpkin pie, without a doubt.
Stuffing is really yummy too though - but DH's family makes it in muffin form which I always thought was strange. My family makes it cassarole-style.

When 3 Became 4
My dad is Greek but my mom is southern so we always had a mismatched Thanksgiving. Cornbread stuffing and spanokopita.
Luckily, my parents come down for Thanksgiving every year so I get my favorites
mmm Stuffing, Mashed potatoes, my gravy (which has been known to be consumed with spoon), brussles sprouts and mac & cheese. uhm I can't pick one
Day of: Mashed potatoes
Next Day: Leftover turkey sandwich. MMMMMMM......
Mine is the leftover sandwiches---dark meat turkey with wild rice stuffing and cranberry sauce on a lightly toasted roll. Yumm-meee!
Oh, and the home made applesauce I make...

Greenbean casserole! Yum!
And my dad's jalapeno cornbread stuffing. Double yum!
