So this weekend my husband and I are going to a hockey game with friends (it's here in town; not far away or anything), and he wants to ask my parents if they will watch Ashlen overnight. She is 7 months, and knows my parents well, so I know SHE won't be the one with the problem. I, on the other hand, have not been away from her for more than like 8 hours, and I don't know how the night would go for me.
Any tips, advice, etc from moms who have left their little ones would be appreciated.
ALSO, this morning on the Maury Povich show, there was a baby with the name of "Omunique"-- pronounced Ahm-you-neek (not sure how they spelled it). I giggled.
Re: Overnight Stays (and a "hee hee" name)
LOL about the Maury show, I saw that too and though Om really.
I am leaving LO at the end of the month for 4 days so I have no advise for that. Like you though it will be me with the issues LO loves her auntie and uncle.
LOVE maury. i don't watch it anymore, but i have the dvr set to record and keep 5 episodes at a time. when there's nothing on, we watch it and laugh.
My Blog - It's All Part of the Adventure
I had to leave mine for two nights last week for work. So hard.
But she did fine! Is there any way your parents could watch her at your house? One night she stayed with my parents at their house, the other my sister and her boyfriend stayed at my house. She slept a million times better at home. Apparently at her grandparents' she kept waking up and wanting to play.
Oh, I just re-read and you're worried about you, not her. Sorry! I don't really have any advice. I just called before bed. You'll be okay, mama! And you'll be with your husband...so you should keep busy...
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!
