Have we talked about the Muppet Movie!?

I'm ridiculously excited about The Muppet Movie coming out. "Muppets Take Manhattan" is in my top 5 of all time favorite movies. Embarrassed Abby can sing almost the entire Muppet Baby song from it. I'm hoping just the 2 of us can go see it. Emily would probably enjoy it but her attention span wouldn't even make baby day at the Alamo an option.

Any other fans?

  • I am so excited. Unfortunately I'll have to wait until its on DVD. I think that the movies at Alamo are too loud for Sparky's poor little ears, and we don't go to any other theaters.

We used to have the soundtrack record to Muppets Take Manhattan and another Muppet movie I think when I was little. We'd put it on and recite the whole thing.

  • I puffy heart the muppets. DH's favorite Christmas movie is A Muppet Christmas Carol.  I'm not sure if he wants to go to the theater though.  I suggested we take his grandma at Thanksgiving since she doesn't get out much and would love it. Embarrassed  I do think she'd like it but I would like it too!

  • We are leaving Linc with Bry's great-grandma and Bubbe and we are taking Em to see it when we are in NYC. She is never going to want to come home because earlier that day we are taking her to the "Dino" Museum (Natural Museum of History). I am super excited!
  • DH and I are both ridiculously excited, but we don't think we'll be able to see it in the theater. We are very vaguely toying with a Baby Day outing with both girls, but we'll probably just buy the DVD (which will be less expensive anyhow).

Someone else can maybe confirm this, but I *think* on Baby Day they lower the volume of the movies.

I'm excited!  Last night we saw that Jason Segal was on Nightline talking about it and DH was all, "Why is Marshall on Nightline?" and I told him because he's in the new Muppet Movie.  DH said he didn't even know there was a new Muppet Movie coming out.  Confused

We will be at my IL's farm near Sealy/Katy for Tgiving weekend, and I'm hoping that maybe me, SIL, neice and nephew can take DS.  Would be so fun!
