I know that this is a silly thing to be upset about, but I have wanted an iphone for  forever.  DH said I could get one if I got a raise, which I did in October, but I only get paid once a month, so I had to wait til October 31st.  Then payroll messed up and didn't pay me my new rate, and is going to add it to my next check, November 30th!  So I was already upset about that, so DH stopped at Verizon on the way home from work to surprise me with an iphone, and it turns out the special rates only apply to new lines or if you are due for an upgrade, which I am not, so it will be full retail!

I know I would use the features a ton for work and just out and about, but there is no way I could spend $600 on a phone.  My laptop only cost a little more than that lol.  I'm just really bummed and needed to vent about it!

    Boo that sucks! I love my iPhone, but I definitely wouldn't be able to spend that much. Sorry you don't get your new toy Sad

    That really stinks. There's no way I would ever pay that much for a phone, either. How long until you can upgrade?

    A year!  I got a new phone in February (not a smart phone) and it is already losing battery really fast.  Ugh.  I even had a dream about trying to come up with a scheme to get an iphone lol.

    If its thru Verizon, they are running a promotion where you can upgrade early if you are switching to a smartphone...they just told me last week...any chance you r Verizon?
