At what age did your babies eyes change color?

My girls have really pretty blue eyes and I'm hoping they won't change. Did this happen to you after 5 months?

None of my kiddo's eyes ever changed color but, both, my H and I have blue eyes. I think that they say that they can change up to a year?

Amelia's have been brown for the last 2-3 months. Here changed early. Owen's are a blue/grey/green color which I think are going to go green or hazel. Our oldest son's eyes didn't settle until at least 1.5-2 years old. They're a darker hazel. My eyes are blue/blue-grey and my H's are brown. I'm enjoying the lighter eyes on Owen and hoping they stay lighter.

DS's eyes started to turn brown by the time he was two weeks old! By three months old, his eyes were full brown.

DD's eyes went from dark blue to more of an average blue by two months old, but then between 15 and 18 months old, they started to get some green to them. Now at 2 1/2, it almost depends on what she's wearing, whether you'd say her eyes are green or blue!

E's eyes changed to brown at about a week old. A's eyes are still blue. My DH has green eyes but had blue eyes for the first year or potentially even longer (it's hard to tell in his baby pictures when they changed, since we don't have very many pics).

My kids eyes were blue for a long time... I was sure they wouldn't change. I had heard up to 2 years they could change.... they changed from blue to brown right around 18 months.

For reference, DH has blue and I have brown eyes (my mom's eyes are blue).

Both DDs have blue eyes. I could tell DS' eyes would change within a month. They've been definitely brown since he was 3 months old or so.

I have blue eyes and H has brown eyes (his dad has blue eyes), my girls have very pretty bright blue eyes and I highly doubt they are going to change!

i totally expected the boys' eyes to change from the blue they were born with, since my husband and i both have brown eyes (his are more greenish, though.) but alas, they haven't changed. so you never know!

My girls are 22 mos and haven't really changed. They have DH's blue eyes.

DS1 had beautiful blue eyes that turned hazel between 2 and 2-1/2 years old. They got this orangey ring around the iris that grew outward pretty quickly. DH and I both have blue eyes, so I actually took DS to the optometrist because I was worried there was something wrong with him!

In the past couple months my older DDs eyes have started to become more hazel towards the middle but are still blue on the outside. Both the twins have blue eyes so we'll see what happens. I was really hoping one of them would get my green eyes, but nope :-(

I have brown eyes, DH has blue.

N's eyes are still grey-blue, while E's have changed to brown with bits of green. I have no idea how they will end up! My mom said mine were already my dark brown color by this age.

I have brown eyes with a recessive blue gene, and MH has blue eyes. Bridey has very blue eyes. Marlowe (the brunette) had denim blue eyes for nine or ten months, then the middle started getting darker. She had an indescribable color for the longest time, and now they're brownish in the middle and deep bluish on the outside. I have no idea what color that counts as, LOL.

Around 7 months old my one son's eyes changed from a blue to a bluish gray color. I have hazel eyes and DH (and his Dad) have really bright blue eyes. My other son has really bright blue eyes.

I have blue eyes, and my DH is Chinese with dark brown eyes. DD2's yes turned dark brown by the time she was 2 months. At 7 months, DD1's eyes are more of a hazel color. I still fully expect them to turn brown at some point in time, but we'll see.

Mine are blue, DH is hazel. Of our 3 girls, one went hazel well after one year, one went dark hazel quickly, and the other is still changing at 15 months - right now they are greenish.

Their eyes have evolved in terms of shade and color pattern (A's are marbled, W's are pretty clear but have a white ring around the iris) but at almost 3, both boys' eyes are still blue like DH's. (Mine are green.)
