Clicky: if you could only eat one of these for an entire year

Which one would you pick?

Don't be a douche and be like, "well, I don't eat any of those anyway" because, seriously, I wouldn't believe you.

    For real.

  • So 3 of you are douches b/c you responded about being difficult and didn't explain?  hmmm.  I see how you are.

    ;)

  • There is very little better in this world than a fresh baked loaf of bread. With butter.
  • I was going to answer pasta until I saw you added cake in the bread column. Mmmm cake.
  • I voted pasta b/c that would for sure be my pre-preg answer.
But pregnancy related - its definitely been the potato category ,but not b/c I like it, more out of necessity not to starve or throw up.  I dont like that answer - I'd rather have pasta.

  • Damn, joyco, that's a thinker.  Because, did you know?  I'm a carbaholic.  Can't imagine going a year without any of those options.

Ultimately, I chose pasta.  Simply because there are so many more options to choose from within the pasta family, and what you can top it with.  Although the more I think about it the more I realized I screwed myself and should have said Bread.  Because now I won't even be able to eat anything with breadcrumbs on it, any type of cookie, cake, etc...  drat!

  • I answered potato because I tend to eat a lot of baked potato's but I LIKE fresh bread and corn tortillas better. But there isn't the situation where fresh bread and corn tortillas are around too much. Hmmmm, but I couldn't live without pb&j's, I didn't even think about that. Also is pizza considered bread? Damn between pb&js and pizza, I should have answered bread.

  • I chose rice bc that's pretty much what we have done over the last almost year. Not that bad. We a tually just removed rice since DD developed an allergy and I really miss it. I used to be a major carbaholic. That's all I ever ate / craved before I did my detox. I LOVE not being a slave to those cravings.
  • I'd have to pick bread since it contains so much other stuff.

not b/c I'm a slave to cravings, but b/c dang, cookies, pizza and hot bread with butter is dang yummy.

pretty much this, even though I effed up and voted for potatoes. But that was in a moment of weakness, fries sound really good right now.

  • I voted rice because I would probably wither away and die without it.  I'm Asian, damnit.  Must.Have.Rice.

  • Um, bread. Hands down. I'd hate to see pasta go, though.

But, HELLO? Hamburgers, PIZZA, Texas Roadhouse rolls, biscuits and gravy? TORTILLAS?!?!?!?!

Seriously, what would I eat without bread?
