My DS came down with hand, foot, and mouth disease today.  FML.  Odds are I'm going to get it, luckily it won't harm my inside baby, but REALLY?!?  Please pray for us.  The all day sickness kicked in for me and my poor guy is just miserable, won't eat or drink, and just cries.  We have to stay on top of the motrin b/c as it wears off his fever spikes :(  God I hope I don't catch this.

    This just spread like wildfire through my DD's preschool.  She had already had it though, so she didn't catch it again.  I will say that when she got it the first time (and the rash was BAD), i didn't catch it.  Hopefully you get the same luck!

    I'll say this right now, disinfecting wipes are the best invention ever, as is bleach.  I'm doing the bleach water to disinfect toys and the wipes for every other surface around the house.  This sucks.  The crazy thing is he didn't get it from daycare.  He's at a small in home with 3 other kids that have never had it.  I have no clue where he picked it up from, but it sucks :(

    Aww I'm sorry hear that. Sad Hopefully he's better soon. I can't imagine a sick child on top of being pregnant.

    hope he feels better soon. that's awful. there was an outbreak of it when we were stationed in korea and so many kids came down with it.

    Not to be debbie downer - but I think you should def make sure to talk to your Dr. about this- It just went around my DD school also and from what I read there is actually some risk involved for the fetus...or maybe I am a freak and paranoid...which is also an option ;)
