Hi everyone. I have been lurking here and I know almost all of the regular posters either through the board or chat. I sometimes feel lost on TTCAL with the in-flux of newbies. I will try to summarize my history...DH and I conceived in May, but due to AF type bleeding we didn't find out until June when I was about 6 weeks along. That ended when we saw the baby and a heartbeat in my left tube which was then immediately removed. I was devastated, but thought for sure it was a fluke and would never happen again. Well, in September we conceived again and it was shaky from the beginning with bleeding and a low first beta that miraculously was doubling as it should for the first couple of weeks. And yet there I was again, in the hospital labeled with another ectopic in my remaining tube. I was treated with methotrexate on 10/12 and my betas aren't quite cooperating as I would like them to, but thankfully I have avoided another dose of metho. My OB and the high risk doctor both have informed me that it would be best for me to not conceive naturally again and that IVF would be the best option. So here I am, waiting for my hcg to get to 0 and then moving onto a fertility clinic where I hope to get some answers. Either way, I won't be TTC in any form until January-ish.

I'm in the same boat-having just experienced my second loss, both probable for ectopic (they couldn't verify on ultrasound though). I'll be starting IVF in January as well. I'm sorry you have to be here-but good luck with IVF-I hope it bring you your take home baby!
