How did you do? I am at the in-laws, they just got it back. We lost power at 8pm Sat and the electric co said it could be 7 days or longer! I am just thankful I have a warm place to stay tonight.
Luckily we did not lose power, although we went to a friend's house on Saturday night for a Halloween party and around their neighborhood there were trees down everywhere and their power was out. It made for a nice spooky atmosphere for the party though.

We did ok. No power outages (except for 5 min right when we started to eat dinner tonight..) Trees down everywhere though. 1 fell on our fence, but it wasn't damaged too bad. Many of us in NJ are still without power though. My office didn't have any today so we worked from home.

My Aunt & family lives in Summit NJ. She lost power, has down trees (and even one big on that fell on a car as it was driving by. Fire Dept. had to use work to get them out of the car, who's windows had exploded. Thankfully only a few scrapes on them). She & my uncle have been staying between her sons about four miles away that have power, and in their RV since it's on a generator LOL.
DH and I live in S. NH and we lost power at about 8 p.m. on Saturday and got it back Sunday morning. My parents who live down the road from me didn't get it back till today. We had large tree branches fall all over the house and one that took down the line without breaking it. So we have had a lot of cleaning up to do.

I am in S. NH too. So jealous!....Katib, I am glad your family is ok.
I'm in CT and lost power Saturday afternoon. They're saying we won't have it for about a week. Luckily DH hooked up a generator and we're able to run the fridge and tv (the essentials!) and we have a fire going. My BF, her husband and their 6 month old are staying with us. Work is canceled, I grocery shopped in the dark, trees are down.... its pretty crazy!
We're at my in-laws. Our power went out early Saturday afternoon, and the power went out here yesterday afternoon. The power here is back on and they're saying our power won't be back on til Thursday at the earliest.

We got about 8 inches at our place. Luckily we didn't lose power (well only slightly and it was way past 1 am), just the cable and only for a day. I got caught up on cleaning and watched some movies with DH. There were a lot of trees and branches down, but nothing too major.
