Family Picture Help!

We are going for our family pictures Saturday and I have NO idea what we should wear.  Our little family consists of Me, Chloe, and the hubby.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  We don't necessarily want them to be Christmas related, although we are using them for our Christmas cards.

    I would just do adults in something basic... Black slacks/skirt and nice tops and baby in something nice... I'm not too creative, though, but I don't go for gimmicky things--holiday sweaters or whatnot. I pretty much would just make sure our colors don't clash.

    We're doing ours in a month. I have a couple of options - kids in jeans & cream tops and us in jeans & colored sweaters/long-sleeves tops or kids in jeans and different colored tops (cream, orange & brown) and us in jeans & colored sweaters/long-sleeved tops. I'll probably buy skinny jeans and boots for myself. Amelia will have a headband on with either a bow or a handmade peacock feather clip from an etsy seller. I have a clip for myself as well.

    I remember seeing a post on here during 3rd tri by a professional photog with some guidelines for maternity pics.  She said don't wear prints, don't wear white, don't wear t-shirt length sleeves (she recommended 3/4 sleeves).  I've since started only wearing solid colors, and it's true that I'm happier with the pics than before.  I guess I try to think of it like it's a pic of my family, not my clothes.  HTH!

    For ours, Nora is wearing a green dress with red trim. I'm wearing a dressy red sweater and either jeans or black pants. Dh is wearing a black button-down shirt and jeans or slacks.

    So, coordinating, but not matchy-matchy.

     I have a Nora too!  Spelled the same and everything!  B-day of 4/15!  I love our name choice!
