from 3 naps to 2... when?

DD is starting to REALLY stretch out her 2nd (Around noon) nap - and really fight her last nap (around 4) - so obv we need to transition soon.

The prob is that I have a 3.5 yr old who has a 2:00 preschool pickup time on Tues/Thurs. (And a drop-off time of 9am)...  Anyone else in this predicament? I hate having to RUSH home to get her down both times...    it was so much easier with just one baby!

    Our naps have been pretty good lately. 1 1/2 - 2 hours in the morning and the same in the afternoon. If both his naps are that long he won't nap at 4:30. I am just waiting till he drops it himself. Somedays he will nap somedays he won't and somedays it might only be 15 mins. I don't sweat it though if he doesn't have it. We are in the same predicament on Monday and Wednesday where DS#1 gets picked up at 11am. So sometimes it cuts into his morning nap and I have to wake him. Luck for us it is a 10 min walk up the street.

    My LO is touch & go with her naps at DC.  Some days she has good naps some days she only naps for 30 - 45 minutes.  So she still takes a 3rd nap around 5pm to 6pm.  She still goes down for the night around 7:30.  It works for us so it doesn't bother me.
