2 long weeks until 1st appt

Hi all!

My DH and I got married on August 27th & started TTC right away. We just found out (on 10/31) we are expecting and are bursting with excitement - we plan not to tell anyone until Christmas and it's already hard!

The good news is the midwives we LOVE are available for our due date - phew! But we aren't scheduled for our first appt until 11/18 - that feels like such a long time from now - haha

If it makes you feel better, our first appointment isn't until the Monday after Thanksgiving. Talk about a long wait!

I tried to get an earlier appointment, but they didn't have one that was convenient (being that the week prior is Thanksgiving week, so they have two fewer days for all the other appointments).

I'm anxious to go in and make sure everything's progressing fine.

IF it makes you feel better we don't have our blookwork appointment until Dec.5th and mini ultrasound until Dec. 13th. Let's hope November flies by.

Im right there with you. We have to wait until the 28th of Nov. We are also trying to wait until christmas. I cannot believe how difficult it is. GL to you on your secret keeping.

I'm in contact with my midwife - but no first appointment scheduled yet!! Feels like forever until I get to see my little bean... I'm sure the time will fly by.

I know it is hard waiting for that first confirmation appointment, but it will all get here before we know it, and LUCKILY we get to be distracted with the holidays during the most nerve wracking trimester. Congrats and GL!

I feel your pain! Mine is the Nov 19...we can wait together!! I'm just so anxious to see that there is actually something (hopefully a baby...ha!) inside of me. If everything goes as planned, we are hoping to tell our family at Christmas as well!!

I completely understand! I can't even call to make an appointment until 11/14. I called yesterday and said I had a +HPT and they said their protocol was not to schedule an appointment until 10 days after the positive. Ugh. I'm really curious how long we will have to wait after the 10 days to actually be seen.

Our first appointment is on the 18th as well! This is killing me! I count down the days! haha. We are planning on telling everyone on Thanksgiving just because I can't hold it in anymore!
