I pregnant again and looking to update my maternity wardrobe and was looking at some pea in the pod tops. I was wondering if any once could share if they ran small or big or true to size. Most shirts from target maternity I wear small or medium. and when I'm not pregnant I generally wear medium or large. TIA
Re: anyone wear pea in the pod while pregnant
I LOVED the pea in the pod shirts too! I had the t-shirts with the bunched sides in every color. Little more expensive than other stores, but wonderful quality.
I don't like my clothing to be super-tight, so I got the shirts in medium. I'm 5'4 and when pregnant I was between 125-150lbs.
I had like 7 of those shirts, too! I thought they ran pretty TTS - I could wear them up until I delivered in a medium and that's what I usually wear. I had 2 pairs of their shorts and they fit nicely, too.
I pretty much wore PitP clothes the entire pregnancy (I am 40 weeks now). I bought small talls when I was 12 weeks and wear them to this day. Motherhood offered more of a variety in style, color and print and I bought a ton there too but my stale was the pods.
As far as shirts - I wore a small in both brands. Individual designer brands were consistent. I did find that jeans were all over the place. I wore a 28 rock n republic prepreg and I couldn't get on any unless I jumped into the 30's, even at 12 weeks. Odd!
I was 5'9" 128 prepreg just for reference.
