Good luck!!! We always had a bit of a cranky baby for several hours after her infant shots, and - when she was really little - her leg would be sore where they did the injections, so we tried to avoid bumping or touching it. But then she was usually back to normal by bedtime. Hope she recovers quickly for you!!!
But yeah, I remember those two month shots---I think they are tougher on mom than they are on the baby!
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation. Because we're fancy like that.
GL, shots are never fun. Lots of cuddles from mommy and extra sleep should do yhe trick. Give tylenol as needed for pain or as recommended by your pedi.
I always nurse right after shots, it always makes my LO happier. I don't give Tylenol before hand so I can see if he is going to have any reaction to the shots. So far he just gets really tired and sleeps more the day of the shots and thr next day. Good luck, they really aren't that bad.
Since she didn't want to eat early this morning ( which the pedi said was NBD) she got hungry right after her exam, so I fed her immediately before the shots were given. She was a little cranky afterward but is now out like a light. IDK if the shots did that or if she'd be asleep anyway....I'm just glad she's not miserable (yet).
