Clomid...yes another ?

So I called my OB office to confirm some information with them about my Clomid. I am supposed to start testing for O earlier than I normally would due to the Clomid causing O to come day 14/15. If I O'd before it would be around day 35ish if it all (which only happened like once/twice since I had Ky). So following the directions on my box I should start testing for O day 6/7 for a "normal" cycle. Then I read  online that if you start opks too early you can get a false psoitive and I should not start until day 9....any advice?

    My dr does an U/S 7 days after starting clomid and tells me to start doing OPKs the next day.  You should not have a problem with false psoitive OPKs.  Clomid should definitely bump your O earlier than day 35!

    our RE did the first growth scan at CD 12 when C was on clomid (for 7 days past when she started it). she doesn't O on her own so I'm sure it'll bump you up :)
