I'm 33w2d and I'm hurting....bad. The weight of the babies truly seems like they are about to fall out of me I'm worried every day that my water is about to break haha. I'm sure Ill go until 36/37 weeks when they will schedule something but in the back of mind I am freaked out that it could happen at any time.
So my question is...when did your water break or when did you go into for real labor (where they didn't stop it and you had the babies).
ps my OB will not stop labor after 34 week with twins...so I only have a little under a week to go before it wouldn't be a problem anyway....

Hummmm kinda wishing that was me (except of course I don't want preemie's haha). How long where they in the NICU? Any major problems at 33 weeks?

i never did - i went to my 38w1d c/s with no signs of labor.
you are doing a great job! it's hard- but worth it
As an Art teacher for little kids, I LOVE your new siggy!!!!!!
I went into PTL at 31w3d, but luckily they were able to stop it and I was on hospital bedrest until 34w.
My water broke at 36w2d. The funny thing is at my last appointment a few days prior, my doctor told me there was no way I'd make it to my scheduled c-section. She said with all the weight and how low Baby A was, she could just tell my water was going to break soon. She was right!
GL - hope you make it to at least 36w!

my labor started at 36w1d, and my water didn't break until i got to the hospital 3 hours after my contractions started.
my ob also told me he would not stop my labor after 34 weeks, and i was very happy to make it to 36 weeks!
Please don't wish that. My girls were born at 33 weeks. We spent over a month in the NICU and Lillian still has eating issues. I know it is so uncomfortable right now (trust me, I was on hospital bed rest at the end), but it is just a few more weeks. I remember that a few days before my bp went off the charts I was crying, telling my DH that I just wanted the pregnancy to be over. I still feel awful about saying that to this day.
Water broke at 33w4d out of the blue. Babies born few hours later.
Hang in there. You are in the home stretch. I was miserable too, but wished we had held out longer.
One of mine was in NICU for a month with lots of complications and we almost lost her at one point. Other had 2 week NICU stay.
The longer you hold on, the better. Good luck.
After 2 years, Injects, PCOS diagnosis and 2 IUI's, we were blessed with our beautiful twin girls!
Baby Girl #3!
My water never broke either- it was broken for me at the hospital to get things started as there was blood reversal from Tristan to Zxavier. They were born at 37 weeks and 3 days.
I was on bedrest from 30-34 weeks and they told me that if they came at 34 weeks they would not stop labour at that point.
Oh I feel for you girl. I can remember this feeling like it was yesterday...It is so awful and so painful to carry multiples. Seriously.
My water broke on its own with DS1 so I was fully expecting the same thing to happen with my twins. But it did not. I did go into labor on my own at 35w3d and OB did c-section before my water could break.
Never went into labor. I had a scheduled c-section after 4 weeks on hospital br for pre-e.
I remember feeling HORRID at that point also and I was in bed! I know its hard, but keep those babies in as long as possible! I had 36 weekers with 12 and 19 day nicu stays, that wasn't fun AT ALL.
GL and you're doing FABULOUS mama!!!
went into PTL at 33w. We were able to stop it and then I ended up being induced at 38w2d.
Hang in there!! You're doing a great job...it will be over before you know it!
Um I don't wish that....no one wants a preemie...I said that in the message...thanks!

Baby A's water broke at 36w2d. I remember walking around that last week feeling like her head was at my knee. I really didn't think she could go any further down without falling out, LOL. I had gone in for my final growth scan that morning and they couldn't get an accurate weight on Baby A because her head was so low, they could not measure the circumferance (sp?) so they had to make a guess and he was only 2 oz. off with his guess on her weight. I drove the whole way home sat on the couch to watch some stupid tv while DH went to the gym. I got up for the 10th time that hour to pee and my water broke in the bathroom.
I knew it is getting harder and harder every day to keep going. Just take it in steps get to 34 weeks and then once you get that far, just keep trying for 1 extra day. You are almost there. Good luck.
