What shampoo do you use? We were using the Johnson's 2 in 1 extra conditioning, which I love, but with all the hype about their products lately I think I'd like to switch. Any recommendations?
I use the same, but I also use a separate light conditioner on DD's hair. I think I got a herbal essences product for her and her hair's been so much better and healthier looking since then.
Dr. Bronners Lavender. It's organic, all natural, and smells great. It is NOT tear free, but I've learned she only really needs her hair washed maybe once a week or else it dries out. When I do wash her hair I'm extra careful and haven't had any shampoo/eye mishap yet. If you do buy Dr. B's don't be offput by the price. The stuff is super concentrated I dilute it three parts water to one part Dr. B's and it lathers like crazy still so it lasts forever. I also use it to wash her body.
To condition I put a little olive oil in her hair everyday and rub until it's not greasy anymore.
I use Burts Bees shampoo/wash. If I use anything with conditioner it makes his curls too soft/bushy...and I still need something tear free because it takes a lot of rinsing to get all the soap out of his hair.

California Baby Calendula Shampoo and Conditioner. I don't rinse out the conditioner completely and it makes combing easy and separates his curls nicely.
