4 weeks pregnant and hardly any symptoms

I'm 4 weeks, almost 5 and I haven't had any vomiting, back pains or anything.  Is this normal?  I have tender nipples, slight slight nausea, and the slightest bit of cramping.  My hcg levels are doubling so i should be fine right? maybe there is more to come in the following weeks :I

  • Just wait a week or two.

  • It is very normal for morning sickness and other pregnancy symptoms to begin around weeks 6-8. Enjoy this non-sick time, and try not to worry so much; worry and stress do nothing good for pregnancy.

  • You're barely pregnant.  :)  Enjoy the mild symptoms while they last.  :)
  • Don't worry about having no symptoms.  Some women have it and some don't. Consider yourself lucky.

  • Like everyone else said, it will probably come. Mine hit at about 6 weeks, first the boobs then the nausea. I know it's hard not to worry, but try to enjoy it for now!

  • I've had barely any symptoms so far. Basically just tender breasts and a bit of an achy abdomen here and there. Every woman and every pregnancy is different. Just take it as a good thing and that the pregnancy is going really well. My friend is 18 weeks and she is just starting to get a bit nauseous now. She barely had symptoms either. Your fine! :) H&H 9 months to you!
  • I'm 10 1/2 weeks and have yet to really have any symptoms.  My nipples are SOMEWHAT tender, and now and then I get mild stomach aches at night (not nauseous, though).  Some food aversions maybe, but I think that's just the stomach ache.  Some women get symptoms, some don't!  Consider yourself lucky!

  • I started the nausea/vomiting sometime during week 6 and it has not stopped yet.  I long for the no symptom days!

  • I had no symptoms whatsoever, not even tender nips, at 5 weeks.  Even now I still don't have any "classic" symptoms.  I never had even a hint of nausea or constipation or any other things many ladies here talk about.  Maybe it's not very common, but it is possible.

FWIW, my symptoms were lack of appetite from 5 - 8 weeks; and around 7.5 weeks my pants became really uncomfortable and extreme exhaustion hit.  I've also been a lot more emotional, but who knows if that's connected.  I am 12 weeks tomorrow and still really tired, and I've been in all maternity pants since 9 weeks.  Other than that, I feel like myself :-)
