Breast Changes

I don't know how to do a CP so I'm just going to ask the Q.

This morning I talked to a Lactation Consultant and she asked me about color/size changes in my breasts. I told her I hadn't experienced any. She then asked me if I was a larger cup size. She said "usually" women with cup size C and under experience much more drastic changes than those with D+
I thought this was kinda of odd for her to say, as I could have sworn it seemed our board has proved this theory wrong, hands down.

So let me ask:

Are you a D+ cup size and have experienced lots of changes in color and/or size?

Are you a C cup or smaller and have not experienced much of any change in color and/or size?

Before pregnancy I was a 32B. Since the pregnancy I have gone to a 34A, my nipples have darkened and gotten larger, and I'm leaking regularly as of 28 weeks. My month old 34A bras are getting snug in the cup so I suspect before this month is over I may move to a 34B, and the I know they'll blow up once LO is here and my milk is in.

I am normally a DD, and have experienced exactly zero changes in size. I've noticed that my nipples have darkened slightly. But, I am also concerned about my lactation, since I have a hormonal condition that has recently been linked anecdotally to low milk supply.

my nipples did not change at all last time around. my breasts got a little bigger but generally stayed the same - I also gained weight everywhere so that's kind of to be expected. I went from a C to a D. but I'd been a D before in my life.

ETA: I totally misread your post! haha. I swear my brain has holes these days. so yes. maybe that's true.

However this time I've gone from a D to a F/G and now I'm popping out of that. and I've gained less weight than last time. go figure.

I may be the minority, I started at 34B, now I'm 40DD and still growing! My areola's (s/p?) have gotten slightly bigger and a little darker. And even though I've gained over 30lbs so far, Confused

I did most of my growing the 1st tri. I was 38D at 12 weeks and had only gained 4 lbs (aparently all boobs!).

I was a 38DD about a year ago, then lost 50lbs & a cup size. I started out this pregnancy as a 38D. My nipples have changed, I'm leaking a little & I've gone up a band size, but my cup size hasn't changed at all.

I was a 34DDD before pregnancy. I have had to go up to about a 36 or 38 but thats it. as for color changes.. YES! I went from very pink to very brown. The size of nipples has gotten bigger.

Pre-pregnancy I was a 34C. I moved up a band size around 15 weeks and I'm still comfy and supported in these 36Cs, but wondering if I'll need to go up a cup size before I hit the end of this pregnancy.

I'm very fair skinned, and my areolas are definitely darker and veins in my breasts are much more prominent.

I'm a D and mine have not gone up in cup size. I have had color change and leakage though.

Im a DDD and I havent had growth but I do have darkening a lot of darkening in fact.

Pre pregnancy I was a 34A. I am now spilling out of a 34C and need to buy D's.

Nipples have gotten WAY larger and much darker, with a little bit of leakage, but not much.

Also although my belly has escaped unscathed, my nipples now look like sunshines due to the fancy stretch marks fanning out around them :P

I'm a 36B and all I've noticed is a brown spot on one of my nipples, but my back is fat so it's time to get an extender. No other changes...9 weeks for that to happen I guess.

i am a C cup or smaller and have experienced SOME change and size.

i went from a 34B to a 36C, however, that's snug. the cups fit fine, but it's squeezing the crap out of me so i might have to buy a bra extender. but i'm guessing that's just because i'm small framed (i'm 5'1", and 115 lbs) and all my insides are being shoved up in my ribs causing them to seperate ALOT.

my nipples darkened a little, not much, and the have only grown outwards (the actual nipple itself sticks out farther than it used to).

i'm guessing that i'm going to get bigger once the baby is here though, so who knows.

Pre-pregnancy I was a 38 DD. I am still wearing the same bras, except for the fact that I went out and bought bra extenders because my bras were feeling tighter around my ribcage. I haven't gotten larger, they just appear more full and the veins are more apparent. Nothing drastic...definitely was expecting the worst and haven't seen it yet! I really haven't had any tenderness, either.

Pre pregnancy I was a 36b. Now I am a 38b. My nipples have gotten bigger, I have lovely stretch marks, and they now sag like crazy. I hate my boobs now. Not that I loved them before, but are so gross. I havent had any leakage. I really hope when they baby gets here my milk comes in. I am really worried I won't be able to breast feed. No basis for this worry, just worried.

I was a 32/34F pre pregnancy. I'm now a 32 H/I. And my nipples and the area around them have definitely gotten darker.

I was a 40DD before and had lots of growth my first tri. By 5 weeks I was in nursing sports bras for sleep because they were so sore and heavy. I've been measured at a couple of places and keep getting conflicting sizes. I'm guessing I'm a 42 or 44 DDD but I've noticed the last few days that my "cup spillith over" and that the two granny bras that I bought are now getting a little small in the cups. I've also noticed that my nursing sports bras are getting a little snug and I'm starting to spill out of them as well. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that because I'm already wearing a 3X and Motherhood doesn't carry a larger size.

I haven't noticed any major changes to the size or color of my areola/nipples. They may be slightly darker but definately not bigger.

My biggest annoyance is that I'm carrying high and can't comfortably wear underwire bras. Right now I'm only comfortable in ugly "granny" bras that are oh, so sexy. Stick out tongue

I have gone from a 34C to a 34D with all 3 of my pgs. My nipples are bigger and a little darker but not a HUGE color change

This is a little hard for me to answer. I was a DD back in January, but I lost almost 40lbs... some of that boobage. I kept wearing the same bras knowing that even though they were big right then, I was pregnant and they would grow). My guess is I was a small to medium D, still.

So if I start with a D cup, yes, they have ballooned (to DD+) and my areolas have gotten slightly bigger. Nothing else that I notice!
