I feel like we are in a food rut.
Can you please respond with your child's favorite foods?
Anything with iron would be a huge plus because Abby was slightly anemic at her one-year appointment and we're struggling to find foods with iron that she'll eat.

Re: I need ideas (toddler food related)
LOL thanks to you, chicken nuggets are now a frequently-served food in our home.
You could try Scout's crescent roll things with chicken and spinach in it since spinach has iron.
I second the spinach nomination. You can easily hide it in sauces or scrambled eggs. Lean red meats have iron too, and DD loves beef. What about broccoli or asparagus? Iron-fortified cereal or pasta?
Some of DD's favourites are grilled cheese, pasta, quesadillas, bagel and cream cheese, pita and dip, and tuna
I have been mixing unsweetened applesauce and oatmeal and she gobbles that up. I'm getting to the point where I always give it to her if she refuses to eat the meat I have at the meal.
I sneak spinach into homemade mac and cheese, grilled cheese, pizza, etc. Morgan likes all of those foods and it's easy to hide veggies in them.
She also loves PB&J sandwiches. Does peanut butter have iron? I feel like it should.
Peanut butter does! We got the go-ahead to give it to her but I think she's weirded out by the consistency when she tries to pick it up.
Hummus on his veggies?
I put spinach in a lot of things - meatballs, lasagna, shredded chicken. A big hit today was a spinach, ham and cheese fritata. Costco also had some spinach nuggets that she will eat.
Do you supplement? We have a poly-vi-sol with iron (don't know what it is called right now) or I try and give fruit and baby oatmeal. T has become randomly picky so if all else fails, pb on toast.
No, my child is like this as well.
With the exception of cheese. She has a love affair with cheese.
Our LO's new foods this week are vanilla YoBaby yogurt (she LOVES it), meatballs from Trader Joe's, & shredded chicken from the burritos at Chipotle!
We make fruit & spinach smoothies almost every day - my daughter LOVES them

Normally, we use full fat greek yogurt, so there's some protein in there too - in addition to what's in the ground flaxseed we add.
She's also a HUGE fan of basically any kind of chili, as long as it isn't too spicy.
