How many DPO did you get your BFP?

I am now on day 8 PO and just curious when it would be worth starting to test. Cycle days have not been exact...from 26-34. Thats why I'm going with DPO instead of days until missed period.

    10 DPO, but I was undergoing fertility treatments so we were very sure of the ovulation date.

    Good luck!

    Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
    18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!
    BFP #1 6/22/09 EDD: 3/2/10 DS born: 3/8/10

    TTC #2 since Dec 2011
    BFP #2 7/8/12 EDD: 3/18/12 M/C @ 9w1d: 8/16/12

    I am so impatient. I'm pretty sure I tested and got positives at 10 DPO with both. I used the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor because my cycles were unpredictable, so I was pretty sure of the dates.

    no idea the 1st time but I was about six weeks along.

    2nd time I was 12dpo. BFN on 11dpo so I was so sure I was out, took one the next day just to please the RE. thought it malfunctioned.

    1. I was almost 5 weeks along so about 19dpo.  I knew I was late but I promised DH I would wait.

    It generally takes 8-10 days for the egg to travel down into your uterus and implant. After implantation there is a time lag also until tests will pick up the HCG levels enough for a positive test. Good Luck!!

    Thanks everyone! I think I may just wait the weekend, and then try on Monday. I'll be 13 DPO. If its GOING to happen, it would probably show up by then. :)

    I never had luck until around 12 DPO.

    For DD, I got a BFP at 10 DPO, but we did IVF so I had a blood test and my levels are an 8 so there was NO WAY I'd have gotten a positive test on a pee stick.

    Not 100% sure on ovulation dates, but for all four of my positives, I got the news on day 25 of my cycle...likely 11 or so DPO. 

    For me, the little paper sticks you buy in 10 or 20 packs from Amazon for about $0.50 each always showed the positive before the digital or other expensive tests.  Pretty faint lines that early, but definitely there.  Expensive tests usually showed positive a day or two later.  Definitely a huge money saver if you are the type who likes to know ASAP!

    It was 9 DPO on 11/11/11 with an internet cheapie.  I thought it was too early but decided to test just because of the date.  I am sure it was 9DPO because I chart and used opk's.
