Plus size maternity clothes

Ladies, need some help.  Need to know where I can buy some plus size maternity clothes without breaking the bank.  I looked at Fashion Bug and Boscov's today.  Am thinking about looking at Lane Bryant and Motherhood Maternity on Sat.  Any other ideas?  TIA!!

    Have you looked at Old Navy?  My friend got all her plus sized maternity clothes there and found some good deals!

    5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
    FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
    1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
    IVF - May - BFN
    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    I've picked up several things at motherhood. Thy have really nice jeans and some comfy knit sweaters.

    I think Old Navy is no longer carrying maternity plus sizes.  I did hear that Avenue has started carrying some.  Lane Bryant had a line a few years ago but has also discontinued them. I use JCP a lot. Unfortunately, just not a lot of variety available. I find motherhood to be pretty expensive. GL

    JC Penny online and Motherhood (in store) have been the only places where there has been true-plus size maternity clothes ... I suppose it depends on how "plus-sized" you were prior to pregnancy, but I never fit in the biggest sized normal clothing at The Gap, so maternity wear was completely out for me.  Target seems to be a hit or miss, but their items shrink so badly it's not worth even the cheap sales.

    If you don't want to buy there is a website where you can rent maternity clothes. the site is called Mine for Nine.  Also try consignment shops or even places like Savers, St. Vincents or Salvation Army.

    Unfortunately, Lane Bryant no longer carries maternity but you can find a lot of their stuff on ebay.

    avenue.com just started carrying maternity. haven't ordered anythign from there so not sure of the sizing.

    I find Motherhood uncomfortable and insulting after going into a store once and there were 2 small wall racks with plus size and that was it.

    Old Navy is okay. Sizes run small and usually flimsy quality.

    For prices and quality, JCPenney.com is my favorite.

    I got most of my stuff at Old Navy and Penny's (I pretty much just bought tops at Old Navy because I couldn't find too much that fit bottom wise).  Motherhood had some stuff but I only shop the clearance racks there.  Good Luck, I understand your frustration.

    I'm just butting in to say that I really wish The Knot had a Plus Size Bride board and I really wish The Bump had a Plus Size Mommy board.  I think it would be so helpful for things like this.  *end of rant*  lol

    I found a great tank top at Target, it was in the plus size section not maternity. It is Mossimo (I think that is spelled wrong) long and lean. It is great for wearing under shirts when they start to get to short to hide the awesomely huge belly panel on my jeans.

    So far I have found the best stuff at Motherhood, I only shop the sale section though.
