  I made homemade applesauce too, and I got the same reaction, LOL!  I added purreed bananas and DD loved it. I guess it wasn't sweet enough.

  We've had problems with applesauce too.  One of my DD's will eat it, but she always makes a grimace like I just gave her a lemon afterwards.  It's pretty hilarious.  I also added bananas, and that has helped.

  This is definitely going to make it into a photo album.  I love the pic.

  I will try the bananas with the applesauce the next time I make it.  She LOVES bananas, so hopefully she'll eat it that way.

  Try using different apples and baking them rather than steaming- I used Fuji and DD LOVES it! I used breastmilk and the food processor to make it extra smooth, because she has texture issues.
