oh my goodness, i've been bigger my whole life, but this is getting out of control. i can't even buy a bra in the maternity store now. anyone found a place to get bigger bras?
Barenecessities.com has a fabulous selection of larger cup size bras. As a girl who is normally a 36-38G, I've ordered from there for years. I'm up to a 40F/G at the moment.
www.breakoutbras.com. love that store, and it gives comments on a lot of the bras so you know what to expect. also has a very easy return policy if they don't owrk for you.
I wear a 34 F and I anticipate I will reach G status once the baby arrives. I get all of my bras at Nordstrom and my favorite brand is Chantelle. You can probably find them cheaper online (they run $80-$90) but maybe go in to Nordstrom to try them on first. They carry a lot of other brands in those sizes as well. I don't know about maternity specific bras since I haven't bought any. I'm guessing Nordstrom would carry nursing bras but I don't plan to get those until after the baby so I know what size I'll be.
ETA: Duh, I can't believe I forgot - Lane Bryant (Cacique I think is the lingerie line) if you are a 36+ in band size. They have really great bras and they are almost always in the $40 range and buy one get one half off. Not maternity or nursing bras but you don't need those yet anyway.
I actually found one that I love at Dillards. I have moved up to a 36 H through this pregnancy, and I really got the bra beause it was only $36, and I was expecting to only be able to wear it a short while. Turns out to be the best supportive bra Ive owned in a while! Good luck
I'm right there with you! I'm actually starting to pop out of my F/G bras now. Sad day. If you're local to Southern California, there's a great boutique called The Pump Station that has lots of options. If you're not from around here, try their website:
If you're planning on BFing, it might make sense to transition to nursing bras at this point. With DD I got sized at a BFing store affiliated with my hospital and bought a couple of Bravado bras there. This time I bought a few bras/tanks from Figure 8 maternity, which has a good selection and recommendations on sizing at different stages of pregnancy/early weeks of nursing. I am a 34DD when I'm not pregnant or nursing, more like a 34F/G now, so I have a hard time finding bras in stores.
DD born 10/10/07 * DS born 11/25/11 * #3 due 3/9/2015
I was a 32G (UK; US 32J) before pregnancy; I'm in 34H (UK; US 34L) now. Shopping for larger cup sizes is, well, something I'm pretty used to.
I second Nordstrom's (though I do NOT recommend Chantelle; they're very pretty, but they're stupidly expensive AND the elastic wears out very, very quickly) and BareNecessities... and I further recommend:
Figleaves.com
Bravissimo.com
I hope you're able to find something you like!

I have been going to him for years for my bras and he has nursing bras that might fit you. If you email him with your measurements, Mr. CC will let you know if he has it or if it exsits where you can buy it. He is the best! Nursing bras are up to an H- I think.
Re: 38 f/g bras.... feeling depressed
Nordstrom's - they're fantastic about tough to find sizes especially for those of us with larger cups!!!
Otherwise, if you have a style/size just go online and get them there.. WAY less frustrating!
Totally agree with BareNecessities.com I went from a 36C pre-pregnancy to a 38F as of last week so I sympathize with the struggle.
