Hi ladies,
I figured I would do an official intro.
It has been 4 years since we started TTC and we lost 6 babies during during that time. We have gone through 5 doctors, including 1 who told us it wasn't going to happen and he could no longer help us and another who treated me like her own personal lab rat for research. I spent the last 9 months waiting for something horrible to happen again and I still can't believe that our baby boy is really here with us. After about 26 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing, our baby boy was born via c-section on October 10th. I can't believe he is already 3 weeks old!
Recovery has been rough. I was finally starting to feel a little better about a week ago and then suddenly started having more pain in my incision. Last week one day I stood up and my incision came open. It was horrifying. It turns out I had a large infection and taking care of that has been pretty awful. I now have a wound vac in place and have to have it repacked every 2 days. I'm really looking forward to feeling better and being able to move again and most importantly take care of my sweet baby boy. I'm hoping we are headed in the right direction now and I keep trying to remind myself that this will get better in time.
I am so happy to finally have my baby boy and be here with you all!!!!!
