We are officially having our mock transfer next week and starting stims on 11/9.
As for my favorite book, I tend to be stuck in the kids literature or research for work (I teach)...so when I get a chance to read something that isn't work related I go for trashy romance novels. Sad, but true!

Update: I'm on day 8 of stims with my biggest follicles around 14-12mm. I'll possibly trigger on Wednesday but I'm guessing maybe more like Thursday. I'm starting to get pretty uncomfortable, so I'm hoping it'll be Wednesday
QOTW: I'm reading "Two Kisses for Maddy" and "You Had Me At Woof" ...both very good but it's taking me a while to read them. Not sure about my fav book but my favorite author is Jennifer Weiner..I do love the book "Good in Bed". My least favorite book is probably something we read in high school, but nothing is ringing a bell.
Update: Did EPP/Ganerelix. Went for Baseline yesterday and started stims last night.
QOTW: I love to read. I just started A Visit From The Goon Squad. Before that I read The Sugar Queen, which I enjoyed. I don't know what my all time favorite book is...so hard...probably one of the older Jodi Picoult books.

Update: The RE called this morning to tell us 8/9 embryos were still dividing and all were between 6-9 cells. They haven't called to schedule me yet, but I assume the 5dt is still on for Wednesday. This waiting is killing me!! DH is making fun of me because I am so attached to those embryos!

What is your favorite book? Hmmm. I don't know. I read a lot, but I do love me some chick lit. I'm ashamed to say I loved Twilight and A Walk to Remember (because I am a giant teenage girl inside).
What is your least favorite book? I'm really particular about books and will put one down in a heartbeat if I don't like it. The worst book I read lately is Water for Elephants (takes cover and hides). I'm sorry, I know everyone loves it, but I thought it was horrible!

Update: I'm 10 days into BCP. I start my Lupron on Sunday. Stims should be about Nov 14 with ER and ET around Thanksgiving. I'm on a very similar timeline as PrettyAccountant.

What is your favorite book? I love romance novels. It's hard for me to choose just one. My favorites are Robyn Carr's Virgin River Series. I also love Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum novels.
Update: I transferred 1 3d embyro on 10/30, so now I am waiting to see if I get any to freeze on 11/2 and for my Beta on 11/10. I have getting my blood drawn in the afternoon, so I get to wait until 11/11 to find out the number. I will likely POAS the day of of the day before

My update...we retrieved 18 eggs, 14 fertilized and we transferred two embryos on 10/28...one 8 cell and one 6 six cell each with no fragmentation. Beta is 11/11/11 which is neat! Just found out today that we do have frosties...just aren't sure how many yet, the embryologist left early toda, will know more tomorrow. I am feeling pretty positive so far, we will see if that continues.

Update: We just found out today that we need to do some more testing before our next IVF will be okayed. DH goes for his first of 2 S/A tomorrow and then in two weeks do his second. We also need to schedule an appointment for a urology consult, which DH is already freaking out about. This means that our next IVF is probably not going to happen til January.

Update: I am in the 2ww - about 8 or 9 dpo today. I am not feeling very confident as I am not having any symptoms except sore boobs and I think that is from the progesterone. I am trying to stay positive, but it is hard. DH is feeling very confident, but he always does. You'd think he'd know better by now. I guess it's good that he is so positive though, someone needs to be.
QOTW: What book are you reading right now? None at the moment, although I will be starting The Postman Always Rings Twice for my book club.
What is your favorite book? Pride and Prejudice.
What is your least favorite book? I don't really have a least favorite. I like almost every book I've read, but I don't read sci-fi, horror, mystery or love stories, so that eliminates a lot.

QOTW - It pains me to say this but being an Accountant (think numbers) I don't read - always hated reading. I am not reading anything now. I don't have a favorite book because I don't read - which I guess means I don't have a not so favorite book. I read the Wall Street Journal everyday - I know - I know - DORK! :-)

I've sorta officially started IVF #1, no shots yet, but I'm going to be on a long lupron protocol and just waiting to O. I've got a mock transfer on Thursday and bw to confirm O the following week. Then I start lupron on 11/13, stims 12/2 and estimated ER is 12/14. So I think that makes me a december cycle!

QOTW: I'm reading Jean Auel's newest book, just finished reading Jane Eyre. Can't remember the name right now... another reason why I prefer real books and not ones on my iPod... harder to look at the "cover".
My favorite book is "The Hatchet" by Gary Paulson, all though I have several close runner ups. Hands down my least favorite book is Tale of Two Cities. In general I just want to smack Dickens!

QOTW: I'm reading The Art of Fielding right now. It's okay. It's more of a writer's book than a good plot kind of book.
My favorite books are the Time Travelers Wife (book is sooo much better than the movie), Beloved, and Pride and Prejudice.
My least favorite books are two books I was forced to read in high school -- the Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin and Of Human Bondage by W. Somerset Maughm. Just terrible. Awful. I can push through almost any book because I'm such a book lover, but those two killed me.

ER was today and I got 8 eggs. I am hoping we have a better fert. rate than we did last time.
I'm glad to be one step closer to having this cycle finished. Some days it felt like it would never end.
QOTW: I love non-fiction. Some of my favorites have been the World Without Us, Geography of Bliss, Malcolm Gladwell's, and the Art of the Heist.
Least favorite is anything sci-fi. It's just really not my thing. I think we had to read the hobbit in school and I could never get into it.
Right now I am reading something really mindless called Richistan about the richest people in the world and their lifestyle choices.

I had my SHG last Friday, everything looks good, have a fibroid, but it not in the uterine cavity, mock transger went smoothly. I go in this thursday for my lessons and calendar so excited. Should start my Lupron Nov. 7.
Not reading anything right now. but I did order The Couples Guide to IVF. waiting for its delivery, I plan to jump right into that.

Update: I started BCP for IVF#4 yesterday!! I am finally getting this thing started. I will have my calendar this week but expect to start stimming the last week in November!

I have not had an update on if they froze my embies or not... I will hear today (it was supposed to be my ET day ... ). I should also know how long RE wants me to wait until IVF1.b or 1.5 or IVF2+ however I am going to call it?? What do you call it when you do an ER but no ET, but you (hopefully) have frosties?? It's probably going to be Jan. 2012.
I love Patricia McKillip books, it would be hard to pick a favorite but probably the RiddleMaster trilogy. I also love Robin McKinley and her book "Beauty" is probably my favorite of hers.
I found Lord of the Flies upsetting, and thought Water for Elephants was poorly written (sorry!) That's ok because I know fantasy/fairy tale isn't many people's pick either.

Update: Today is Stim Day 9 and I had my Follie Check #2 this morning. Last night I had some major cramping and was concerned about ovulating, or my cycle being cancelled... gladly today they said that I am right on track. I go in tomorrow for Follie Check#3 and then will have the ER either Friday or Saturday!

Update: Currently on day 6 of stims...been on 5 of Lupron & 225 of Follistim, now adding 1 vial of Menopur to just 150 of Follistim & 5 of Lupron. Next monitoring appt is 11/3... So far we've seen 11+ follies, with my dominant follie just 0.5 cm ahead of the next biggest; lining is at 6. Super excited that this time next week I should be headed to ER!
QOTW: not really reading anything at the moment... but my fave book(s) is/are anything by Emily Giffin. I read Something Borrowed at least 3 times (this was before the movie was ever in the works)...her latest one, Heart of the Matter, was good also. I'm a chick lit reader...

Update: Today is day 9 of stims. The plan is to trigger tomorrow night with ER on 11/4 and hopefully transfer on 11/9 if I make it to a day 5 transfer.
