Today in class I tripped on a student's backpack and totally fell down. I didn't hit my pelvis on a desk or anything, and I am not seeing any blood or cramps. Do you think it warrants a call to the doctor?
There are so many layers of muscle, blood, fluid, fat, and tissue that your little raspberry is really well cushioned still. Unless you have sudden cramping/spotting...you're both fine.
If it makes you feel better...the other day I was running away from my dog because she has been annoying me with this who hormone-changing thing. As I ran away in my socks and tried to turn the corner, I slipped and fell right on my side. I was worried too, but I heard this from all of my friends and family. I have had no cramping or anything--my body tissue protected baby.
P.S...I would have been soooo mad at that kid!!! Hope you're feeling ok!
Re: Should I call/be worried?
I wouldn't worry at all. Your baby is well protected from impact at this point.

I'm ashamed to admit that I called. My office had me go to the er and get checked out.
The poor girl whose backpack tripped me felt so bad. I felt awful for her and kept reassuring her that it wasn't her fault.
