Labour starting soon?? I know, endless question but answers appreciated! FTM here...

Ok, 

 So been having the watery discharge since almost a week ago. Havent lost my mucous plug or water breaking but irregular contractions on an off.

But my dreaded first tri nausea has returned full force!

 I have the chills (hot and cold, hot and cold) and  I havent actually thrown up but come close and feel dizzy and cant even sleep b/c the nausea keeps me up :S

I have heard that nausea and dirreaha (which I also have tmi) can be a sign that labour is starting but I wanted to make sure it was normal and if any other ladies had this before labour started? Or am I just sick?

I have also been getting numbness down my arms off and on and hands which I have read may also be normal from baby pressing on vessels and lots of swelling and blood.

 Any info is appreciated!

    I had no warning that labor was beginning. I felt fine, energetic and went about a normal day (with some nesting/cleaning, of course). My water broke and that was that. 

    I have read that if you're body is clearing itself out (vomiting and loose stools) that could be a sign that it's gearing up for labor. But unfortunately it doesn't give you a more specific window. I'd suggest, at 39 weeks, that you get some rest each day, just in case. In early stages of labor, it's best to get rest. Labor is like a marathon and you want to have your energy. Best of luck!

    I had the watery discharge the past few days too, some slimy weird stuff too.  Appearantly our membranes are thinning and we are getting some "practice" contractions in.  All normal in the weeks (or days) leading up to the big day :)

    I've had the watery stuff for over a week now and really heavy in the last few days + menstrual-type cramps and lots of going to the bathroom #2... i went to the doctor yestrerday because i was worried all the fluid could be amniotic fluid leakage and the doctor looked and said it was just mucous thinning out, no water broken yet...

    What was your blood pressure like the last time you had it checked? I asked because the numbness is not good and could be a sign your BP is elevated. I'd get it checked out. It sounds like you might actually have a bug, which could cause your BP to rise. IMO, I don't think you're in labor yet, but you could at any point now. Feel better!
