Just throwing it out there:
Aurora Ann
Last name starts with S and is one syllable. We really want to use Ann as a middle name because it is my middle name and also my grandmother, who passed away 3 years ago. Any other name suggestions are welcome also.
Re: Opinions on girl name..
I might just be...completely inept...but I have trouble saying the name Aurora. I get tripped up on the double R's.
But it's a pretty enough name, and I like the significance of the MN.
Other suggestions: Rosalind, Juliet, Cecelia, Georgiana, Valentina, Miranda

Aurora has always been hard for me to say, but there's a poster who used to post here regularly who named her daughter Aurora, and she is very cute.
What about Lenora, Eleanora, or Aurelia for a similar feel?
I love Aurora but it is a little difficult to say. I write in my spare time and I LOVED Aurora for the name of one of my characters but changed it to Rora. Still pretty I think and easier to say
I think it still goes with Ann
I LOVE AURORA .........It's on our short list
Isadora
Valentina
Elena
Eloisa
I obviously love Aurora! I think I'm the "regular" that someone was talking about
I haven't been around much lately though, my 4 month old keeps me busy! But I loved this name board! I still love this board!
When we named her we thought for sure we'd call her Rory for short, but honestly, we love her name so much we almost always call her Aurora. If we call her anything anything for short, we say Rora.
I'm not a fan of the Aurora Ann together though. I think it sounds fine, but a small tongue twister. But by all means, it's fine and people will survive!
But I don't find Aurora hard to say. I haven't run into anyone yet who couldn't pronounce it!
My current favorite names are Pearl, Florence (NN Flora), Ruby and Penelope right now! Good luck!
