Hey
As I live abroad (and the shopping here ain't great), I have bought most of my maternity stuff online. I've managed fine for work clothes (thanks to Gap and a recommendation for Jojomamanbebe), tops and dresses but now need a pair of jeans.
The problems are:
1. It is really hard/expensive to return stuff so I would love recommendations to minimise that risk; and
2. I am curvy! I am a size 10 to 12 usually - my waist is a 10 but my hips/thighs are a 12, so for a lot of clothes, I have a tailor take in the waist. But with maternity clothes and the expandable waists, that isn't such an option. Or wide-leg styles also work well for me.
So... any recommendations?
Thanks ladies!
Re: Help finding maternity jeans?
I'm built the same way you are girl.
So far I've gotten two pairs of jeans from Target. One dark (more dressy) and one more casual.
When I was pregnant with my daughter my favorite maternity jeans came from GAP.
I recently found a great pair at Motherhood Maternity. It was a little pricey for me (I ended up paying $50+ including taxes) but I figured they'll last for while. I got it a size bigger than I normally wear because I know I'll grow into it. Check online to see if they ship overseas.

Thanks ladies! My problem with motherhood stuff is that you are either medium (8-10) or large (12-14) and as I am a 10-12, I'm never sure what to go for...
I bought some gap trousers for work and got the 12 but deliberately went for the half-waist ones (whcih are stretchy at the front only) and ended up having the back taken in as no matter how big I got, I was never going to stretch the back that much! So maybe a 10 in gap jeans.....
I have the gap jeans - see PIP below (these are the one with the waistband all the way around, but not the one that covers the belly). I've also got them in the lighter wash.
I wear 10/12 and ordered the 12, so I'd say they were true to size. They were a tad loose up top at first, but my bump is starting now - so they are staying up much better. I had the same issue did with those trouser pants - I had to size down 2 sizes for some reason in those. These fit much more true to size. Also, I'm short, so these are the ankle length . . .
