DH can hear the heartbeat

Last night I had DH put his ear to my tummy and he could totally hear the baby's heartbeat! Has anyone else tried this? I told him it would sound like a galloping horse and he heard it almost right away.

    I wondered that, so I had him feel my pulse while he listened and he said the baby's was much faster.

    It's very possible it was the heartbeat.

    When I was 28 weeks, the baby was positioned a certain way that we actually FELT the heartbeat on my side. It was insane. Babe's back was just so pushed up against my stomach, we felt it.

    Yes! It's one of the ways my DH likes to bond with our baby. With pregnancy number 1, he could hear it a lot sooner, I think because she was head down sooner. But he's been listening to her heartbeat for around a month this time. And yes you can tell it's different, its faster than mine!

    I've heard this is possible but haven't tried it.  I just went to see my midwife today, so know about where to hear it, will try tonight!!

    So jealous. I can't even hear it using a stethoscope.. or fetoscope! I even took them into my appointments to see if I was doing something wrong... she couldn't even hear it! It's super loud on the doppler, so I thought I'd for sure be able to hear it!

    My mom has heard mine with a stethoscope and I've heard it with the iphone app :)
