Newlywed and newbie

Hi all.  I'm Alison.  My husband and I married 4 weeks ago.  I'm 40, and my children are 16 and nearly 14.  My husband and I would love to add to our family, but he is recovering from spinal fusion surgery (2 days) ago.  We were unsuccessful in the 3+ weeks between the wedding and surgery.  I thought my "baby" days were over, until I met my husband-to-be just over 2 years ago.  I'll be 41 next month, so realise it's not so easy for me to become pregnant as the first and second times.  But we are determined and hoping for the best.  We live in New Zealand.  I look forward to getting to know some of you ladies.  Take care.
