Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Sookie and CG, I have a book rec for you!

I'm re-reading one of my very favorite books and it occured to me that you two would probably really enjoy it.  It's been described as Harry Potter meets Jane Austen.  It's super long (as long if not longer than GoT) and a little slow at the start but it really is an amazing book.

Bonus for CG:  It's supposed to eventually be made into a movie and Damien Lewis (Major Winters) is rumored to be cast as Jonathan Strange, which is a perfect casting choice IMO.

YWIA.

  • Oh! I've tried to read that a couple of times but I couldn't get into it.  Maybe I"ll try again, though.

You don't understand the appeal of Benedict Cumberbatch / think he's fug / don't know who he is? WATCH SHERLOCK.  Until you do, your negative opinion of him will not be taken seriously.

Thanks for the rec! Hopefully my library has it.

I meant to rec a book to you, too--it's an incredibly easy read (young adult book), but I found it poignant. It's called Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. I really enjoyed it!

This sounds like a good book!  I have added it to my wish list.  I just have to get through GoT!  At the pace I am going, I will get to this book in a couple of years!

You must, you must!  It's sooooo good.

Sooks, I'll have to check out your book rec--I'm always up for some good YA!

That book is great!  I lent it to a friend a loooooong time ago, and she just gave it back to me and I read it again.  SO good.

I love super good YA fiction.  Does that make me a tween?  LMK.
