Someone swapped my kid...

for one that NAPS!! We've been doing the 30 minute nap for WELL over a month! Then last week it moved to exactly 38 minutes... and then, over the weekend, he magically started napping like a human!
WHO IS THIS CHILD? I LOVE HIM! I WANT TO KEEP HIM! I wonder if it's teething, or a growth spurt, but I don't want it to go away!

Oh HILARIOUS.
I typed this... the kid was napping, I hit "post" and kid wakes up. 38 minutes. What a doll.
Got an hour and a half this morning. Can't complain.
Token, I hope yours figures out nights soon. We're actually doing well in that department (of course.. after I type that, god knows).
Your baby must have swapped places with my baby. DS was an awesome napper for about a month. I would usually get a 1.5 hour or so nap in the morning and a 2 hour nap in the afternoon. It was great and he was only waking up once during the night to eat.
Then last week some sort of switch went off and now I'm lucky if I can get in two 20 minute naps a day and those only happen if he falls asleep while nursing. Nightimes he's waking up 2 to 4 times a night again. I think it's teething.
I want my good sleeper back!

My LO has been "growing up" a lot lately too.
He has been napping longer, but not consistantly yet. I am hoping he grows into it, because I havent done any sleep training at all.
In general. hes just a little better to be around in general. Less fuss, more fun.
DS would never sleep over 40 minutes before all naps were either 30 or 40 min exactly. But in the past couple of weeks he has napped, sporadically of course, up to one hour and 45 minutes!!! That day I didn't even know what to do with myself! lol I started putting him on his belly for naps and that seems to have done the trick... now let's not talk about night time sleeping patterns or I'll cry!

We're still doing the 2-3x a day 30 minute catnap. They do it at home, they do it at daycare.
They did have a better night last night though! Each woke up only once between 7:00-6:00. That never happens.
We were going strong in the 30 minutes! Maybe one day one of your cuties will just up and start the trend!
