If you're just trifolding a PF, you don't need a snappi. I did all sorts of funky folds and twists the first few weeks and used it to hold the diaper on the baby, then realized it's totally effective and easier just to fold the PF on the seams and place it in the cover - no pin or snappi necessary!

We were just doing trifolds like this for awhile until LO started pooping at every feeding again. Then it wasted WAY too many covers. Snappis are good for keeping the poop in!
