I think I remember seeing this question last year, and the overwhelming response was don't do it! But I thought I'd ask again anyway. My family is dressing up like superheroes for Halloween, and it's a crazy thought, but I'm thinking of using our Halloween family shot for our holiday cards this year. But maybe it's too crazy and weird? Thought I'd get some input. We did just get some pro pics done, but I really don't love any of them that much so that's why I'm brainstorming other ridiculous ideas. :-)
Re: Halloween pic for holiday card??
How about a collage of several pics from throughout the year?
ETA: Or doing a "Happy Winter/something that fits" card instead and sending them out soon using your Halloween pics. Then skip Christmas cards.
Love this idea!
Love this as well.

GO FOR IT. I've sent out Halloween pictures on our card before. And once we did a photobooth picture from a wedding I was in (we were WASTED and totally cracking up and I got more compliments on that card...) I think it doesn't matter what time of year the image is from - what matters is that it's a representation of your family.
And then some happy holidays greetings and you're good to go. I may even have a superhero font lying around in my font book if you're in need of one. That greeting up there is clever :-)
I think it shows your silly side and could be cute. You could write, "Have a SUPER holiday!"
I wonder if you could find a card that is like old school comic book or something?

I found you fonts...non clicky links, but a little searching on dafont (instead of folding laundry) and here are a few:
