I had a moment of stupidity today (Monday), and thought it was Tuesday. I started getting bottles ready for Wednesday (the only day I work and bottles are necessary). I didn't have quite enough fresh breast milk to fill three 5 oz bottles, so I put 3-4 oz in each bottle and added 1-2 frozen oz to each bottle (I have frozen cubes of bm for this purpose). Now, that the frozen cubes have started to thaw and mix in with my fresh milk, I just realized that these bottles won't be consumed for ~35-48 hours. I know the rule about using frozen breast milk within 24 hours, but I can't imagine wasting 15 oz of milk. Help?
I *could* use these three bottles on Tuesday and pump instead, but my supply has been kind of sucking when I pump, and I'd really hate to rely on the pump two days in a row.
Re: I messed up... wwyd with these bottles?
Are the cubes still partially frozen? If so, I might pop the bottles (or the whole 15 oz of milk) in the freezer and take them out again on Wednesday morning.
(disclaimer: I'm not any kind of expert and don't use frozen milk with any regularity. Odds are it would also be fine in the fridge.)

I always thought you had to use it within that time frame if it was warmed up/at room temp.
Id use it with no hesitation- Id cry over losing 15oz!
