Do you leave your candy on the porch or wait til you get home?

My husband is at the hospital with his father. He had a massive stroke last Tuesday. Anyways, it will just the werewolf and I tonight. We will probably only go to 5 houses or so.

Should I leave our candy and playdoh on the porch? Or do I wait until we get home and then turn our lights on and start handing it out?

  • Sorry about your father in law.

DH was not home tonight either.  I kept some candy at the door and we were only gone 30 minutes..although at the last minute some kids must have taken a huge scoop, because we stopped at home and there was a lot left. We went inside to go to the bathroom and change and when I went to get the bucket outside most of it was gone. grr...

Last year I had raisins...and when we got back there were all still there. Imagine that!

  • We came home and are waiting but so far no trick or treaters have come by.  We only went to a few places.  Just not many kids in town
