Should I take my 2yo trick or treating?

I can't decide if I should do it or not. On one hand I feel like a bad mom for not fully getting into Halloween this year. On the other hand I am 38 wks pregnant and been having light contractions all day, the entire family was locked in our house sick all weekend and we're barely feeling better and his daycare lady told me that he was terrified of the costumes when they had dress up day at daycare the other day. He did do ok this morning when we saw some kids in costumes though.

Am I a bad mom for skipping it this year, should I suck it up and go or just put him in his costume and let him help hand out candy at our door?

Hand out candy at the door! Last year we only went to a few houses and this year made it around the block and then DS handed out candy. It's okay not to be into it!!
