So, right now my daughter goes to bed at 6:30-6:45. (Meaning she is fast asleep by 6:30-6:45, not getting ready for bed). Honestly, she gave herself that bedtime. It is wonderful because she sleeps through the night for the most part and we get her ready and drop her off around 7:30 in the morning. She is a horrible napper. On a good day she will take a 1.5-2 hour morning nap; and maybe a 15 minute nap around 5pm. So needless to say, by 6:30, she is exhausted.
I have tried extending her naps until later, or having her sleep longer at 5 pm--but nothing works. Ideally, I would like to move her bedtime to about 7-7:30, this way my husband will see her in the evening before bed.
Any suggestions? Or will her bedtime gradually become later the older she gets?
Re: Moving up a bedtime
I have no suggestions b/c DS has almost the identical schedule.
