A Halloween sad

We live a few blocks from a children's home where students are placed by the state or by parents to receive intense inpatient therapy.  They just knocked on the door for trick or treating.  I know Halloween is not a huge holiday but it does make me sad with the other holidays coming up that these children will be away from their families.
