Just got back from my weekly exam, hooked up to monitor.

Today has been a weird day. I walked into my doctor's office and was told that I would be seeing my normal doctor today. I was supposed to see the other doctor today but he got called to the hospital due to a lady going into early labor. So then I get on the scale (blech!) and I lost about 3 pounds since Wednesday. Then I go into the room and the nurse asked me if I had been feeling baby move like normal. I told her "Actually no. She hasn't been moving as much the past couple of days."

So she had me lay down on the table and hooked me up to the monitor. She told me that she wanted to see a few heart beat accelerations from baby in order to feel more comfortable with letting me go back to work. I layed there for about 10 minutes, doctor came in and checked on the print out from the machine. She didnt see any accelerations so she left the room and came back in with some Halloween candy. "I want you to eat these. If anything will get her going, this will!"

While waiting for the heart beat to rise I was really nervous. Laying there by myself just hearing the heart beat was making me anxious. But doctor cam back and said "Looks like she is speeding up as I'm watching. Make sure you are paying attention to her movements. If you don't feel her as much please let us know!"
