AW: Biggest baby in there ever!

So today at my u/s I measured 10w4d that is a lot further ahead than I expected based on when I think I O'd. And of course I'm OK with that! The baby's HB was 153. He/she was moving up a storm. Head, shoulders knees & toes (actually arms buds & legs) were all waving around.
Sad news is what I thought was the heartbeat on the doppler was not. 
Even though the doppler was showing a numbers of over 130 all the way to 170 it was not the baby. I made a video from the last time I used it and showed it to him and he explained the reason the numbers were so high was something about my diastolic & some other stolic (doctor medical speak, I stopped paying attention for a minute) heartbeat. He then tried with his doppler and didn't find it. I'm pretty small so I was hoping it was the heartbeat. He told me to try again in a week or two. I have a 7 pretty baby photos to keep me happy until I find it for real.

eeeek! This is so exciting, girl! I'm so happy for you and your biggest baby ever in there. Congrats, and keep looking at those photos!
And total bummer that your doc doesn't think you are finding the HB at home. But at least you get the reassurance from your awesome appointment!

i just ordered my doppler and am a little nervous to try it. hope you can find LO's soon

3/2011 injectibles with tic = bfp and twins!! edd december
lost both heartbeats and emergency d&c at 7 weeks
9/2011 letrozole,injectibles,and iui = BFP! edd june 2 - baby girl born at 32 weeks and 1 month in NICU...so happy to be healthy and home! 8/2012 whoa! surprise! baby boy due june 2...again!

The u/s tech used the visual waves to make the heartbeat sounds on the u/s. It was an abdominal scan (first this pregnancy), but they didn't try the doppler during the u/s. She did say it was really strong and loud and it was possible that it was the baby's heartbeat I heard on the doppler. Then the doctor used the doppler and found the exact sound I had found and said it wasn't the baby quite yet.
Yes! I am a May mommy. My EDD was actually changed after my 2nd u/s to May 25th, but I've stayed on the June BMB.
