A friend of mine told me that TTC after 35 means I'll be a high-risk pregnancy....
1) What is a high-risk pregnancy? it's a risk for birth defects, stillbirth, miscarraige and other various problems like Pre-E (high blood pressure due to pregnancy).
2) Is she right? Do all TTC after 35 turn out to be high risk? NO!!!!!!!!! More and more doctors are calling AMA after 40, not 35.
All of this. I was 35 when I delivered DS AND I have MS but I wasn't considered high risk.
I was 38 when I delivered DS and I wasn't considered high risk.. I am now 42 and been trying for 3 /12 years to have another. I think 40 and over is considered high risk pregnancy..
